In this youth obsessed society we have pushed aside the voices, creativity and sometimes knowledge of older people, we are here to buck this trend.
Working with professionals to dispel negativity around ageing and dementia (which can affect people of any age) in our training workshops. Looking to see the value in older people, people living with dementia and your staff to make a lasting difference to practice, which is inclusive and creates supportive relationships.
Here at Enrichment for the Elderly we believe in Creativity and what it can achieve. We enable and encourage creativity through bespoke workshops for seniors and people with dementia. These workshops can be anything from making shadow puppets and performing with them through to making drama from memories and everything in between. Reclaiming the word 'Elderly' to be something of an honour where people look up to you. Lets work together to unlock the creativity of the Elderly.
What about the kids? We offer workshops where the whole school can be involved in learning about older people and people with dementia through creativity.
We hope of a future where the older generation and people living with dementia can feel like an important and valued part of society with a voice.
